This ceremony means a lot to me because I was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder and struggled a lot with my mental health before I found the tools and resources that helped me. My goal with this ceremony is for everyone to reclaim their power from their mind, feel their feelings without attaching to them, and release past pain.

Our ceremony will begin with a discussion on how powerful the mind can be and how to overcome it. Depression can be a chemical imbalance in the brain or the result of past trauma, either way I know from my own experience you can reclaim your power from depression. This discussion will explain how this works and various tools you can use to assist you in this.

Next, I will guide everyone through a meditation where we will surround ourselves in white light of pure love and protection. With this safety, I will guide us through recalling the emotions we normally feel with depression without judgment. As we sit with these feelings, we will notice where we feel them within our body and any memories that pop up with them. With this awareness, we will send love and acceptance to these feelings. This acknowledgment is exactly what these feelings and memories need to be released and transmuted into love and light.

After the meditation, we will gently stretch to promote healthy energy flow for everything we just felt and released. During this time, I will open up the floor for anyone to share anything they feel guided to share. I will also pull an oracle message for everyone at the end from my Angel Answer’s deck so each participant will have a bit of personalized guidance for the road.
